Piano Adventures Teacher Training — Seminar 1, Dresden

Piano Adventures Teacher Training — Seminar 1
Seminar Instructor:
David Andruss, Docent, University of Würzburg

The Musikschule DD in Dresden is pleased to present Faber Piano Adventures: an exciting and comprehensive, student-centered piano method, which helps teachers to develop musical hearts and minds through analysiscreativity and expression.
Piano Adventures, the most widely-used piano method in North Amerika and in much of Asia, has set new standards of quality for pedagogical materials. This innovative method is now available in a German edition.

Day 1

On the first day of this seminar, you’ll get a brief overview of the breadth and scope of the Piano Adventures Curriculum and an in-depth look into the power of student-centered teaching. Then we dive right into intensive, interactive work on the pedagogy and methodology of the pieces in the first two levels of the German Edition of the Piano Adventures Basic Piano Method books.

Day 2

The intensive, interactive work on the first two levels continues on the second day of the seminar. David Andruss, docent at the University of Würzburg, will also give you many valuable pedagogical tools for your work with students in both one-on-one, partner and group lessons. In addition, you’ll also get plenty of hands-on training on how to effectively use the innovative multi-media tools and supplementary literature from the Piano Adventures Curriculum.

Participants will receive the Piano Adventures-Zertifikat for Levels 1 and 2 at the end of the seminar.
