Piano Adventures Teacher Training — Seminar 1, Wolfenbüttel

Piano Adventures Teacher Training — Seminar 1
Seminar Instructor:
David Andruss, docent, University of Würzburg

The Piano Adventures Team and the Musik- & Balletschule Wolfenbüttel are pleased to present Faber Piano Adventures: an exciting and comprehensive, student-centered piano method, which helps teachers to develop musical hearts and minds through analysiscreativity and expression.
Piano Adventures, the most widely-used piano method in North Amerika and in much of Asia, has set new standards of quality for pedagogical materials. This innovative method is now available in a German edition.

The seminar begins with an overview of the breadth and scope of the Piano Adventures Curriculum, an in-depth look into the power of student-centered teaching, and several hands-on pedagogical tips and tricks for immediate use with students in your lessons.

In an intensive, interactive second part, this seminar will focus in more depth on the pedagogy and methodology in the first two levels of the German Edition of the Piano Adventures Basic Piano Method.
David Andruss, docent at the University of Würzburg, will take you through with a detailed look at the many pieces in both levels and give you many valuable pedagogical tools for your work with students in both one-on-one, partner and group lessons. You’ll also get some hands-on training on how to effectively use the innovative multi-media tools and supplementary literature from the Piano Adventures Curriculum.

Participants will receive the Piano Adventures-Zertifikat for Levels 1 and 2 at the end of the seminar.
